macarons!

i'm *SO EXCITED!*  i'm having french macarons flown in fresh for me tomorrow!!!

it's kind of weird how this worked out.  there's a fabulous pastry place in portland that apparently makes some of the best french macarons made in all of the US.   i e-mailed the owner to ask how much it would be to have 2 dozen shipped to me...and the response was $

Burdick's has those, and they're awesome, but I bet the ones you're getting are EVEN BETTER.
