(no subject)

I've spent too much time agonising in my own mind, so I shall submit the question to public forum for comment. A little detail on the situation. Subject A (being male) has a crush on Subject B (being female). Subject B has recently been removed from a prolonged and slightly messy relationship, but is making progress to the point to be fairly much over the other partner involved. Subject B has recently been heard to espouse how much she is hating the fact that every male around her just seems to want her in bed. Subject A has reason to suspect, though, that she might possibly harbour feelings towards him. Subject A is not the most stable of people, nor the most attractive.

The question is:

Should Subject A attempt to make known his feelings, and possibly ruin what is developing into quite a good friendship and accept the affects of Teddy Bear Syndrome or should Subject A be selfish in clearing the air and making his feelings known, regardless of what this would do to the friendship with Subject B.

All comments appreciated.
