Went to see this tonight. The plot summary, as seen elsewhere, is Keanu Reeves using his finely honed blank-emotionless-plank skills as an alien in a human body who comes to Earth to save it from human recklessness. Formulaic heart-string tugging character exist to convince him humanity isn't all bad and perhaps not killing us all would be cool, but are so paper thin I actually couldn't give a damn what happened to them, no matter be prepared to forgive a who species' sins for them.
It's predictable, slow, preachy, emotionally void while trying to profound and generally I wish I'd got an early night instead.
