It's been over 3 months since my last update... oops? XD;; Sorry everyone!!
Honestly, nothing too much has been happening. For those of you who remember what my work schedule was like last year around this time, well, its the same. Basically working 10-12hr days, 5 days a week. The project I'm working on is going full steam ahead and I'm getting a little nervous that I may not be able to take the time I want off for Thanksgiving (more on that later).
Theo
We have started letting him have more freedom around the house. For over a month now, he has not been locked in his kennel whenever we leave the house or go to bed. The first time we tried this, we set up our webcam to motion censor, went to the store, and came back to see what he did with his new, unsupervised, freedom. He did excellent! He paced between the front door and back door a bit, then slept XD We still have his kennel out and he goes in there from time to time, especially when we have people over, but, Matt and I are thinking of putting it away after the holidays and see how he does without his "safety zone".
He has also become more vocal. If he gets startled by something outside, he actually barks (he didnt bark the first few months we had him.. ) or do a low growl. All the while, walking very quickly to his kennel lol What a guard dog. <3 He also whimpers to other dogs that are on the TV hehe.
Matt
Early in October, Matt had Lasik eye surgery, so now he doesn't wear glasses XD The lucky duck had this procedure done for free through his work. I'm also jealous because I probably wont ever be able to have this surgery because my eye sight keeps changing. After the procedure, he had a few days of uncomfortable-ness but he's been fine ever since. Biggest bummer was that he couldn't go to the beach for a whole month. But all is well now and he's gone to the beach the past few weekends haha!
Our friends had a baby!
Our friends, Liv and Clarence, had a baby boy, Noah, on September 20th. He is so adorable! We usually hang out with them on the weekends., where i get to cuddle and play him all I want haha. And just a few days ago, we got to babysit him while his parents went out to dinner for their anniversary. This took alot of convincing of the mommy since her baby is only a little over a month old and still doesn't bottle feed. But she fed him right before dropping him off and Matt and I took him and Theo for a walk.
At first, Theo was scared of the stroller in the house. Then we went for a walk and he realized it wasnt going to hurt him and he kept wanting to walk next to it XD Then we returned home and I was playing with Noah on the couch and Theo kept coming up to sniff him and even lick his little feet XD We think Noah is going to be the person, who is not Matt or I, that Theo will accept hehe.
Oh, if you want to see pictures of him, his mommy made him a website XD (its basically so family members can see him grow since her parents live in Germany and his parents live in GA)

Holiday Plans
My mom and step-dad are going to be here for Thanksgiving, and Liv, Clarence, and Noah will also be joining us as well. My mom is super excited that she will get to play with a baby, since, you know, I haven't given her grand-children yet haha.
So there will most likely be pictures to post after Thanksgiving! Keep a look out for em!
The same day that my mom and step-dad leave will be the same day that my dad, step-mom and brother arrive XD
You see, Joey got invited to play at a baseball camp/sporting event over here in Hawaii. He flies in with kids from all over the US to play baseball, tour Hawaii, and do lots of fun stuff. Originally, just Joey was coming. Then dad and Lucy decided they were coming too XD Which is perfectly fine since they couldn't come in the summer.
The sucky part about all of this is, is that I have been working SO MUCH overtime that I am afraid I will still have to continue this schedule while my family is here. My company lost a lot of people due to cut-backs so there is no one to be my back up so that I can take a few days off, or even leave work at the NORMAL time. I'm kind of irritated too because I asked for this time off months ago, got it approved, and now there is a chance that I will still have to work it. I feel obligated to do it because I dont want the project to get behind because of me.
As far as Christmas goes, it's just going to be Matt, Theo, and I. No real plans. Probably just going to relax.
The Future
Matt and I laugh when people (mostly my family) ask when we are going to start having kids, completely forgetting the fact that still need to do one thing before kids.. get married.
Matt and I have talked about it and we both know that marriage will happen before we leave Hawaii.. so within the next 2 years. We just don't know where or when. Well, the "where" will probably just be at the courthouse here in Hawaii, and then we can have a ceremony with family members later. But still dont know of the "when". Matt has mentioned rings a few times, so who knows, right?
Kids will most likely happen after Hawaii, especially if we go to another country (which is what Matt really wants to do) and I most likely will not be working for CTB anymore. We figured that would be a good time to have kids. If we don't go to another country, and just move back to the "mainland" (which will either be Monterey or Maryland) we will probably still try for kids.
Well, I believe that is it then! I don't really have much else to update or inform on so I am going to end it here (besides, I think I wrote enough already! haha).
