Okay, mine is based on my youngest daughter's name; she's Kali Marie. The Marie comes from hubby's daughter from his first marriage, Kirsten Marie. He lost custody of her in the divorce when she was two, and then when she was four, she drowned in a swimming pool. This was shortly after our first daughter was born.
The Kali part is harder to explain, but I've always loved the name, and first heard it on a camping trip with my parents when I was about 12. We went to Montana and there was a little town we passed through called Kalispell. Loved the name. Always remembered it. I love the username I have now because it's fairly unique, easy to write, and I've carried it through several fandoms.
Anyway, not tagging anyone because I've done this one before, I think. Feel free to snag it if you'd like to explain your name.
Oh! And in other news, today is my dad's birthday. Happy birthday Dad! (He's actually on my flist. He's cool that way. *g*)
