So, that new CSI...

I'm a bad fangirl.

I didn't even know the new season of CSI was starting last night until hubby called in the afternoon and said hey, new CSI, make sure to cue the DVR. So I did, and we got around to watching it eventually, and... yeah. Not quite sure what to make of this one.

And the next in line for whumping IS... )

reviews, csi

Dammit, now I want to watch CSI again. I kicked that habit ages ago.

Not random sudden overwrought moony eyes of death at inopportune moments. (I'm looking at you, Jack/Sam.)
Ew.

Hey, CSI is of the good. All sciency and mysterious and chock full of whumping.

And oh yes, my loathing of the Jack/Sam runs deep. Not the pairing so much itself (although I think they would never work together) but the way it was handled on the show.

Same here. I didn't really mind the idea of Sam/Jack early on, but later on it made me want to punch people.

All sciency and mysterious and chock full of whumping.

I don't remember that much whumping. Just the Labrat Liam (forgot his real name. Greg, I think) who got blown up in his lab and needed hugs. Poor Labrat.

Of course, I haven't seen the last 3 or so seasons.

Dude, then you missed the super whump at the end of season five. I don't want to spoil you unless you're into being spoiled, but seriously, this is like hardcore h/c fic on the screen.

Also, Liam! Bwah, from the TWOP recaps, right? I love those things.

I don't mind spoilage, I think. Then again, I'm now seriously considering getting my hands on that bit of super whump (my second cousim might have it. She always tries to get my to watch some version of C.S.I. anyway) and it might be more fun to now know.

Bwah, from the TWOP recaps, right?

Yeah. I never hung out at the C.S.I. boards, but it's impossible to not learn at least a little about how they do their things. It fit him quite well, and I remember it better than his real name.
