Real life, eh?
ok, so long time no nothing but i thought this was worth an update...
[apologies if the context is all messsed up, half of this was written a week and a half ago, and the other half, well...now]
in cyprus atm, and decided to *dum dum dum* LOOK FOR A JOB here, so i sent out my cv to a handful of graphicy websitey designy jobs on tuesday. THE NEXT MORNING at about 10am one called back and arranged for me to come in for an interview on monday morning.
so, being my second job interview EVER naturally i was panicing even more than usual, and im not even sure the burger king one counts....
managed to get there on time, look all right and even managed a bit of eye contact, get in! lady was nice, from the recruitment company, said she would get in touch with the company and let me know by the end of the week.
on the drive home i missed 2 calls from her, and it turns out during my drive she had forwarded my cv and the company had replied and wanted me to go in for an interview that afternoon at 4. And I started the next day! crazzyyyy.
I have a proper job! and it's already been a week and a half, so I guess this is real life o_O I'll still be coming back for reading, but I think the next time will be new year :s At first I got quite freaked out about actually living here and how I'd never see ben, but this jobs a great oppertunity and tbh, we have the rest of our lives to wake up together :) (at least, I hope so anyway)
Job is alright so far, theres a deadline at the end of today and theres a bit that im not sure about...the 'web site' which is just a jpg hmmm, and i'm teaching myself CSS (in between this and david tennant action figure on amazon ^_^) Office is walking distance from TWO starbuckses, a costa and M&S huzzah! Not found a bakery closer than 30mins but I need to look more, they should be all over the place!
