couldnt play WoW (damned updates...) so started to weed the garden. dug up a radish and it was radish shaped but small (surprise surprise) and got quite excited. I've not grown veggies since I was about 10. I love it! More peas seem to be on their way which is good as only 1 in about 15 seeds has actually sprouted :(
Anyway, weeding around the tomatoes I dug up a COIN :D It's a shilling coin from 1954 so it's 30 years older than me. Not the most valuable or rare of coins but i've not dug one up before ^_^
We appear to have ants, does anyone have any advice about whether or not they will be a problem and if so how to get rid of them? There must be a gardening lj community...
Went to see 3dBs down last night, ben and I watched them for the first time without falling out :p Managed to 'blag' free entry without even saying anything as we were returning their merchandise box to them after tey left it at stripes. Other band was called cousin luke and were very enjoyable, headlining was supposed to be vanilla pod but they pulled out due to illness (apparently).
