It's official
I have joined the ranks of the unemployed as of today.
The entire Usability team was laid off today, as well as several other important people. Well, important to Tegic, not important to Wildseed (friendly merger turned hostile takeover, long story).
Any leads would be helpful. I'm already getting hits from monster.com, and I have a phone interview with Amazon tomorrow. Of course, in the course of 5 years of stable employment, I have successfully lost my resume, so I will be creating a new one from scratch within the next day or 2 to shoot off to various companies.
There has been a mass exodus from Tegic to Google lately, including some upper management, so I will proactively seek them out.
