I've already said waaaay to much about the imbroglio over at noscans_daily and I'm sure there are people who think I've splooged and splooged hard (veritable geysers of splooge), but I'm still feeling a little shaky.

I didn't realize how much this got to me until I woke up this morning and realized that I've literally had a knot in my stomach since Friday

I'm kinda glad I don't have all the info. because I don't need that level of anti-semitism fail in my life atm. But OTOH, I am super sorry you are having to deal with this alone, and wish there was something I could do to make it better.

It doesn't matter what you may have said or done in the past, swastikas etc. are never an acceptable retaliation. I hope you know that, to your bones.

Indeedy. Actually I "met" you through Ashlyn and Swmbo, back in the day, and added you to read fic and yammer about how much I love Angel and Buffy and such and so on. I'm still around, and my head still pops out of my hole like the groundhog in Caddyshack every time I see Buffyverse stuff pop onto my radar.

Agreed wholeheartedly. I've been on a grand re-watch lately, and it's making me want to exercise my fic muscles. And I have not watched a moment of True Blood, nor Twilight, and have no plans to, no matter how often Lizzy Caplan shows her bewbs. Although that is a siren call that is difficult to ignore.

I write het, I write femme, I write slash, I write gen. When it comes to 'shippiness, as long as I can see it, I can write it. I'm a big Buffy/Faith 'shipper, because, hey I can cravenly admit that I love the hot femme smoochin'. Just as an example. I've had a gen Veronica Mars/Seeley Booth fic kicking around in my skull for weeks now that I need to actually, y'know, get off my ass and write...and a metric ton of other things suspended in amber at the idea stage.
