So the Louvres arrived on Thursday, and I just finished putting them on tonight. It took maybe an hour and a half, working very slowly and carefully. And honestly I think it’s been one of the easiest mods to install. No complications, perfectly smoothly, couldn’t’ve hoped for more. Despite the decidedly Mexican Engrish of the enclosed instructions

I can appreciate the look difference, nice.
I also like the example of 'manufacturing is moving away from China to Vietnam, Mexico and India' that is pervading my feeds. Many Chinese manufacturing hubs look almost empty: apparently orders from Western firms are about 10% of pre-pandemic levels. China is trying to compensate by increasing sales to non-Western countries and this is taking up some of the slack, but only some. China is kinda stuffed economically right now. I just can't see it sustaining any war. It's belligerence regarding Taiwan has really caused the West to tighten the noose.
You posted about louvres and here I am banging on about China. I'm really not so far off being mildly aspy. I wanted to post about that soon too.
