Defeaters of the Dark Reign

A panoramic picture of the diorama created with the program Autostitch. The curved edge closest to the viewer is actually straight, it's just a trick of the perspective.

Well it has taken me literally years and years but I've finally finished my very first diorama made from Warhammer figures. It's a little bit more piecemeal than I ideally would have liked but then it is a project that has been evolving for a while, so it's somewhat inevitable. Overall though I think the miniatures are good representations and I'm happy with it.

Yesterday when I was showing Cap my progress I had the idea of making a short YouTube video to better show it off. That was actually quite problematic, my webcam on almost every setting created video files nothing else could open. Success did come eventually. And also in fantastic news I've found that if I cover my lights in yellow Post-It notes the colour is no longer leeched from the minitures! In the video you can actually see where the floor has subtle tints of green, blue, yellow and red! The quality isn't quite what I'd like but I'm picky like that...

Now the big question is what to do next...

diorama, dotdr, warhammer quest
