Summary: Tonks and Remus go to paint their first house together.
“You do know there are charms for this kind of thing…”
“‘Course I do, I lived in apartment before Remus. I want something that’s real.”
“Those charms are real love.”
“Sort of; I’d rather do this.” She heard a sigh. “What? Tired already? Or annoyed?” She was smiling.
“Neither…I just…” She leaned over and gave him a wet kiss on the cheek. Rolling his eyes he smiled. “Fine…what colors did you pick?”
She shrieked and grabbed a bucket. “For this room I got green!” Suddenly Remus’ smile looked much more forced, but he helped her open the can. “We’re going to put this on the bottom and then a ring of this tan around the top! It’ll look so nice Remus! I promise!”
He looked from her to the paint skeptically but nodded. “If you say so…as long as none of the walls are going to be pink…”
“Only when our daughter is born Mr. Lupin.” She said winking at him, “now lets paint!”
