Well my holidays have started with a bang, how're yours?
Big keg party on Saturday night, lotsa drinking games and general mayhem. And they have a wrestling ring... like, a big raised wooden thing on springs. It was awesome :p Theyre currently working on a design to add ropes to it which is proving a little difficult.
Slept on a couch, took two loads of bottles to the dump in the morning, threw a chillybin of booze and some matresses into the van, and went to the beach at Raglan.
Met Dundee the Beach Maori while at Raglan, he walked up to us because he'd seen something shiny in the bushes from about a kilometer down the beach. He just wanted to know if the mystery objects were ours before he rifled through it, since he had enough shame to not steal shit when the owners were looking. Turned out it was just a plastic bucket and spade, so wasnt worth taking after all.
The water was perfect, real warm, and it was a bit overcast so the sun wasnt too hot. The lifeguards didnt take our beer or smokes off us, and there were no insects either. A truly successful beach mission! Some American chick we had with us was terribly excited, thought we were hardcore because we just got pissed and went to the beach in the boot of a van with no seats... isnt that just what you do in New Zealand? Its not like we stole the van :p
Sunday was completed with hashmuffins and a guitar hero marathon (fuck thats a great game!) and today Im very glad that I only had a couple hours work to do... early night tonight, then we're back into it. My traditional xmas bingeing has just begun :)
