Yay!
I just managed to save my computer from the unrecoverable pit of despair! ^_^ It was BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) on startup, but I managed to get it into safe mode... read lots of literature about stuff I really didn't want to know about, but in the end... Success! My computer is now starting in normal mode without blue screening! WooHoo!
