Heap Big Snow Come & Update
Weather: Luckily we got our logs and Solstice groceries last night. I got some more salt today and plastic for the windows. It will be romantic to be snowed in with sweetie, at least until it stops and we have to shovel. I sure hope our power doesn't go out.
Baking: I made oatmeal cherry & white chocolate chunk cookies this week. They are yummy. I chunked the white chocolate myself.
Critters: Orange kitty came by twice yesterday: he came in the morning and left about 1 pm, and he was there when I got home from work at 5 pm. I let him in and he stayed until 11 pm, when we had to put him out (since he has not yet demonstrated he can use a litterbox). I felt bad; it was in the 20's. I wonder if he'll be around tomorrow for the snow.
Chapter: The chocolate tasting is taking good shape. I have collected many donation rejections so far, but haven't struck out completely. I have one donation offer and I may get a wholesale discount from Vosges. We'll see. Hershey doesn't donate to either fraternal or religious organizations --- they also own Dagoba and Scharffenberger, presently looking into buying Cadbury. I need to test some ports. :-)
Debt: Only 24 more student loan payments. Die! Die! Die!
House: We're about 18 - 22 months away from having a down payment together.
Belly Dance: There is finally a class near my house. I did some drop in classes and I like them. I'm the oldest (hee hee), but nowhere near the worst dancer. I was able to keep up and do almost all of the moves on the first couple tries. We had a substitute teacher this week and she was just great, cute as a button and a lot of fun. I'd love to take classes from her.
