Other Community Happenings
scaryrei posted a lot of pictures of the second part of
pockyphoto's prize for winning the Poe Challenge last year. It's a handmade book, complete with everything Pocky wrote for the challenge, and
cynchick's cover art, and it's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. I'm all kinds of jealous. You can see it
here.

I live in Southern California, and the weather here is pretty much always the same year round. We get a lot of sun, but it hardly ever gets unbearably hot. Winters are pretty nice, usually, with temperatures in the 70s even in mid-January. Today, we had perfect Disneyland weather: partly cloudy, with a high in the mid-sixties. However, I was not expecting it to start raining around 7:30 PM.
I love the rain, especially when it comes to Disneyland, because most people clear out as soon as it starts sprinkling. But if you're like me, you can handle a few raindrops for the sake of going on Indiana Jones twice in a row. It was still weird, though. Earlier this week, it hit 82 degrees in my city, and only a few days later, it starts to pour at night? And a month ago, we got so much hail during a thunderstorm that it built up piles that looked like snow. We even had a fun perhaps a bit painful snowball fight.
For today's community chat: do you love the rain or do you hate it? What's the weather usually like in your area, and has it ever gotten really weird? If you've ever been to Disneyland, did it rain and did you stay? I hope you stayed. Disneyland is fun no matter the weather.
