My family! Oh man, that's a whole truckload of worms!

Okay, lets start with my dad. We never got on, ever since I could remember. And now, when I'm more mature and he's getting steadily older, we know we should connect but we either can't or can't be bothered to.

My mum is the usual awesome mum though she does have her moments. Like the time she said it was good of me to skip meals as it might make me lose weight. I had baby fat at 12/13, and her comment pretty much turned me anorexic for the year. But despite that, she really is wonderful. She just... doesn't know the right thing to say so I can hardly blame her. She didn't grow up knowing child psychology and small joke like digs really hurt a pre teen with steadily developing esteem issues.

My relationship with my sister deserves it's own novel but I'm not going to bore you. Basically, growing up we were at each other's throat ALL THE TIME! We couldn't stand the sight of each other (which was difficult seeing as we had to share a room) and it only got worse as the years went by. I blame my parents, no one should have kids so close together and expect them to get along. My sister is only a year younger than I am and we fought over EVERY SINGLE DAMN THING growing up. Food, clothes, jewelery, make up, boyfriends, gadgets, our parents affection. I seriously admire my mum for putting up with a couple of nasty bitches like us.

It also didn't help that we saw so bloody much of each other. Same school, same teachers, same friends, same social sets, same class trips, same exam revision classes, prefects meetings, Drama Club, Lit Society, you name it. And when you see someone that much, you start to hate their existence. So we finally started getting along (i.e not wanting to kill each other upon sighting) when i graduated and started pre med. She was in er final year of high school and I was away from that school. I was in a place completely devoid of her or anyone who knew her and it was good fro the both of us. Then she graduated and picked a different course and we eventually went on to have separate lives. Now, we actually get long pretty well.

My brother was always wonderful - even if an idiot - but he really stepped into the position of my best friend when my best friend had to move away across the world. We're now joined a the hip. We learned the joys of alcohol together, we went clubbing for the first time together, he taught me how to smoke, I taught him how to properly pick up girls (I know, i have betrayed all womankind!) and we just always end up have an awesome time!

I always think about like how it would be tough to see the same person (siblings) everywhere from home to school and anywhere else in between. I've been living with my bf for three years and I kind of getting tired of him sometimes lol. -_- I'm used to being alone, so it's kind of a new thing for me.

I'm glad you have a wonderful brother (even if an idiot). xD

I always wonder why it is that siblings don't get along. Me and my brother are rahter close age-wise but get along perfectly. We had our differences in our teenager-years, but now he's one of my bestest friends.
I suppose it's different being two girls...

Is your brother younger or older?

My parents decided to get the baby thing over with real quick and as a result, I'm the oldest, than my sister is a year younger and my brother a year younger than her. So we're all really close in age.

And yes, being two girls locked in the same room/house/school/class really did it for us until we couldn't stand to breathe the same air as the other. My brother on the other hand had his own room, his gang of guy friends (that I got along awesomely with) and therefore always my buddy. Also helped that he liked manga/anime. We used to watch Pokemon together waaaay back. And he introduced me to Naruto.

Hehe - I recently introduced my brother to Naruto... I'm kind of curious what will come off it.
