Well, my great uncle took a turn for the worse this past Saturday, and through some "complications" that ensued, passed away. He didn't even survive the expected ten days on the respirator. Mom is taking it really hard, and I'm just… numb, I guess. I'm not letting myself think about it. I just saw him, a little over a month ago, and now he's gone. ( Read more... )

Arrived safely at Kit's house, if a little early.

My great uncle is sick. That's my Papa's younger brother. He's got emphysema in his lungs, pneumonia in his right lung, asthma and went into anaphylactic shock. College starts up again in a little over a fortnight, and I'm all registered!! I was actually ahead of the game this time around, and pre-registered for my classes. :D WHOO. Go me.
