I didn't have the time to read to read your story for a long time, and I did a lot of catching up this morning.
Seriously, after finishing chapter 19 I felt like punching someone-- it was just to sad and unsatisfying. I was like "She just-f*******-can't-end-it-like-this". After all this time and all this emotional stress she's just gonna let them separate?
Now, in one single epilogue, you managed to save everything, the whole (very long) story. Suddenly, it all made sense-- in a very emotional way. Of course, Mikhail loves Fei Long, and he will always love him, even if he has forgotten everything else. That was just too damn romantic and almost made me cry again-- out of a whole different reason. Wonderful and perfect ending. In a way, it turned out ideal for them-- Mikhail remembers the important part, and all the horrible stuff that happened between them has vanished. It would be interesting to know if he will remember at some point and how he's gonna deal with it. However, I guess you won't be writing that part anymore and I'm not telling you to. What you did up till now is just amazing and at this point I want to thank you for all the work you have done. I know it was a lot of trouble sometimes, to write this fantastic piece of fanfiction that turned into a story of its own. You did it all perfectly-- you gave life to all these side characters who only get a marginal role in viewfinder and who should be in it MUCH MORE. I'm glad you took that long road and didn't abandon us despite the difficulties. The result was definitely worth it. Can't thank you enough for this tribute to all Mik/Fei-Fans. Thank you so much.

I'm glad you saw it that way. It was meant to be a very emotional moment, one last proclamation of love from Mikhail that sets this in stone, proving once and for all that they will never fail as a couple because Mikhail won't allow it. And I think that's the best possible happy ending to a love story. I'm happy that you understand why it ends here and why I won't be writing that part when he remembers, but I will probably write one shots here and there because I'd miss them too much to not do it.
