I think then it is called 'bad timing' since you might enjoy it better having read it before you go XDDD Thank you for stopping by. Did you enjoy your trip? I love Dubai!

I loved Dubai very much! Especially the tea at Burj al Arab. I even passed by the Jumeirah Resort for 30 minutes. I'm not used to the hot temperatures in february (I mean, the climatic temperatures. The Dubai in your ffic is much more hot, and I've nothing against it :P ) since I live nearby the Alps, but it was a great 5 day holiday!
I hope to be back again in 2010 as a self-reward for my graduation.

YAY! Me tooo! I walked around in Medinat Jumeira souk which was awesome. I never got up there on Burj al Arab for fear of being broke. XDD Tell me, is it as fab as everyone says it is?? How expensive was your tea?

Burj al Arab? Beyond any expectations. I'm usually the one that keep on daydreaming about something and promptly get a delusion, but this time, even if I've daydreamed a whole year about it, i was stunned. The tea is more or less 380 dirham, I think in dollar is 100. It's definitely worth it, and you will have plenty of time ( ... )

$100?? O_O like for 1 cup of tea? Literally?? *dies* It happened to me too, you know? Every person who hears me say the word "Burj al Arab" will immediately warn me "You can't get in there without a reservation. And the lady has to wear a dress." In fact I couldn't even get close enough to see it because the surrounding area belongs to hotels that you can't get in either without a reservation. I never felt so insignificant in my life really *sobs*

Well, in fact you also receive a flute of champagne, a hot starter and a lot of appetizers and sweets. ^^
About the dress, well... the dress code is elegant, but I've seen a couple of russian and a couple of british in plain summer clothes.
However I was wearing a silk knee-length qipao with a light green bodice and dark green long sleeves, black leggings and black shoes with high heels.
Next time go for it, it's really worth it, and making a reservation is really easy, they're very very polite! ^^
