So, I took the machine back to CompUSA, and seeing as this was the last dual g5 2.0, they could not immediately give me a new one. So i opened up a support ticket because i wasn't about to let this deal go.
When lo and behold it has been established that they sold me a machine out of warranty. GAH~!, so I had Apple Care and all and they told me because it was out of warranty they had to verify the warranty through apple. So i left it and went to the office to see if I could make things go faster. Turns out it would take 7 to 10 business days to get it validated before CompUSA could even request the part.
I had to drive home pick up the keyboard I had forgotten, drive back to CompUSA and ask for my money back. They called the Austin store and told me that they had a Dual 2.0 that was confirmed working that they would give me for the same price.
So now i have to wait till I get to Austin to have the machine, I told them I wasn't going to make any more deals with them, I need a machine by the time i get to Austin so i can work remotely and earn some more money before i go to school.
