After a long break, Luka at last!
Megurine Luka is the third Vocaloid in the Vocaloid2 series. She is one of the older Vocaloids at 20, and has one of the lowest female vocal ranges. I like Double Lariat, but the video is kind of... strange.

Haha, I love her more story-oriented songs, but this is a pretty good list. I personally think RIP=RELEASE is a good song, but it's not one of her best as well. Anyway, I'm more interested in seeing what you thought of as worthy of being in your Best of list instead of what the fanbase thinks.
xD Yes, Just Be Friends is really great. I listened to the NicoNicoChorus version and was blown away by the awesome. (-3-)d
Whoa, talk about anarchy. I like upbeat Luka songs. They make her voice sound prettier than usual~ And ooh, Toy Box, just adore the instruments. It's so upbeat, and kinda sad, but...
And OH MY GOODNESS AROUND THE WORLD WAS MEANT TO BE SUNG BY LUKA! I mean wow, her voice, the music, the wordplay even ("meguru meguri...")! I think the song has something to do about her urge to travel despite some drawbacks, or maybe what she thinks travel might be? Or she could be referring to the nature of her voice in relation to her name (Megurine=circulating sound ( ... )

I thought RIP=RELEASE deserved a special mention because it was her first song. XD
I love the NicoChorus version to that song. It's on my list for their eventual post!
Not so much anarchy, just not caring what people think about you. I love her upbeat songs, too. :3
That's true. I never thought to think about it that way. My interpretation is that it's supposed to represent how we're all looking for something, but we really don't know what it is. If I'm not mistaken, Around the World was the first Luka song I ever listened to.
I don't think I would have liked the song or the video as much as if they weren't put together. I love the editing in in. o3o
I'm happy that I could help make your day better. :3

Luka sounds like she's singing in front of an electric fan in Knife. In a good way, of course. If I could use a guitar, this will probably be the first thing I'll perform as a rock star. *shot*
Aww, Bullet for Prisoner is so sad? :'( Did she shoot Gakupo? But it's so~ pretty! The melody--was it?--is well done. Nothing says awesome love song like a pink-haired hitwoman singing about the guy she just shot. *nod* *nod*
Kaito also does sexy songs.:> From what I read in the Vocaloid Wiki, Luka seems to have a lot of sexy songs, although Perfect Liar is only sexy in terms of lyrics and the vid, IMHO. The English text really should've been left out, since the song is already doing a good job of conveying Luka's sentiments ( ... )
