It's sad when you realized that certain books you loved as a child just don't interest you anymore. Today I attempted to read The Horse and His Boy from the Narnia Chronicles. When I finally got to the last page, I realized I didn't like C.S. Lewis's works anymore. The characters were too wooden, and I couldn't find myself sympathizing with any of them. I still have a love for Lion and The Silver Chair (Puddleglum rocks my socks) but other than that... I think I've grown out of Narnia, and that makes me a little sad.
In other news, I am now sitting in the computer lab at college, bored out of my skull and waiting for the art gallery to open so that I can talk a bit with the "gallery-sitter". The gallery opens at 3:00. Oh, dear... whatever am I going to do with myself till then? You'd be surprised at how slow the minutes go by when you're bored. It also doesn't help that I'm sleepy, too.
Whine, whine, whine.
