We have the 1st Circuit Court performing proceedings in our Courtroom this week.  It's a fairly big deal with lots of procedures and preparation.  One of our main jobs in preparing for the proceedings is making sure all the electronics are in order.  Particularly the microphones for the judges and attorneys.  So as a precaution we replaced any ( Read more... )

So exactly what happened?  It wasn't what?  2 weeks ago or so when the United States was virtually solidified (well that's probably too strong a phrase) in a hopeful future.  One that's sure to be tough but with cooperation and confidence can be overcome.  But these days I just feel like there's no point.

I was driving a co-worker to the local campus ticket office so she could receive her tickets in the mail for the upcoming basketball season and they only had her old address on file.  On my way there I went to the wrong parking area and couldn't enter (obviously).  We have a permit/tag system that automatically raises gates on restricted lots ( Read more... )

My current position at work is great.  I have a cool boss, nice co-workers, and a generally relaxed work environment.  I certainly miss certain co-workers from my old job but speaking PURELY from an employment standpoint, I'm in the best job I've ever had.
