Title: Invincible Love

Summary: A game called ‘who-loves-the-other-more’ isn’t needed when it’s obvious that they love each other equally and nothing’s gonna stop them from being more in love.
Author's Note: I decided to write a non au because I wanted to. Enjoy and I love you mods for making this White Day fest!! THANK YOU FOR BETAING MY FIC TOO LOVELY MOD #94 I OWE IT TO YOU!!! <333333
It started with a simple I love you.
It was White Day, but Jongin and Kyungsoo were both swamped with their own schedules, both were caught up in filming schedule - Jongin was filming for his upcoming drama and Kyungsoo for his upcoming movie.
But being in a secret relationship for six years, they didn’t let their schedules and their management hinder them from still having time for each other.
Kyungsoo, specifically, won’t let anybody stop him from celebrating White Day with his precious jagi. Same goes for Jongin, though in public, he was apparently dating Krystal. But only fools would fall for that shitty publicity stunt, really.
“How’s filming going?” Kyungsoo asked his boyfriend as they share a blanket, watching Pororo on the screen.
It had been six years, yet they still couldn’t stop themselves from watching the cute cartoon. It was their favourite. Favorite cartoon, favourite past time since pre-debut, so they were back to their ritual of watching Pororo Time despite their busy schedules of arriving back at the dorm past twelve midnight most of the days.
“It’s good. But, I’m still insecure of my acting.” Jongin shoved chips in his mouth, munching loudly, which Kyungsoo didn’t really mind at all, not even when the crumbs fell onto their blanket. Besides, they could always brush them off later before they went to sleep.
“It’s tough, you got a lead role too quickly, so I understand the pressure you’re feeling.” Kyungsoo curled an arm around Jongin’s waist and kissed his cheek. Jongin did the same thing and smiled.
“How about you, hyung? How’s filming?”
“I’m still struggling, but I can do it. It’s my first time doing a thriller and the story is really interesting. You should watch it, jagi.”
“You’re not going to get hurt or die there are you?” Jongin pouted. They both knew how Jongin hated watching Kyungsoo die or get hurt in his movies or dramas - it was the reason why he cried watching It’s Okay It’s Love. Though, lately, he’d always prepare his heart for whenever he watched Kyungsoo’s recent movie projects.
“Not telling,” Kyungsoo laughed, not spoiling anything regarding the movie he was working on. Ever since he stepped up to brave the film industry, Kyungsoo never spilled the beans regarding his character on his projects to Jongin, because he wanted his boyfriend to watch him and to surprise him with what would be the turn out of his character’s fate.
“Not even a clue? Are you going to make me cry again? You always make me cry. Why are you always accepting roles like that?” Jongin sounded he’d cry eventually, but Kyungsoo was amused and he really liked it when Jongin whined like this.
“Just look forward to it,” Kyungsoo patted his boyfriend’s back. “There, there.” He laughed then he leaned his weight on Jongin’s side before settling his head on the taller man’s shoulder.
“Fine,” Jongin kissed his head once more before they turn their attention back to the cartoon playing on his laptop.
It might not be the White Day date they had in mind, but being with each other this way was enough for now.
/
It was 2:47PM when they decided to retire for the night. They faced each other in bed, even though Kyungsoo’s bed was at the far corner of the room, across the bunk bed where Chanyeol sleeps on the top bunk.
“I want to go watch movies with you in public, like the old times.”
“Jongin, remember that we were caught that time? Manager-hyung almost caught onto us that we’re dating.” The memory was still intact in their heads. It had been four years since that time when photos of them buying snacks in a movie theatre had circulated the internet, they thought it would be the end of the world for them.
Jongin released a sigh. “And now, it’s worse. But I still want to take you around freely, hyung. Without anyone following us, taking photos of us, spreading rumors about us and-”
“Shh,” Kyungsoo pressed his index finger against Jongin’s lips, shaking his head. “This is the consequence we need to surpass, but we’ll be okay, Jongin. I won’t let anyone stop us from what we have. We have to be cautious. It’s not just for our own sake, but for the others too, so in the meantime, we have to bear it, okay?”
“I really want to tell the whole world you’re mine.”
Kyungsoo grinned, pressing his palm against Jongin’s cheek. “Me too.”
“I love you, hyung.”
“I love you too, Jongin. I love you. Let’s go to sleep. We still have to film tomorrow.”
“I love you more.”
“Nah, I love you more.” Kyungsoo countered, chuckling quietly.
“But I’m dating a woman to conceal our relationship. Therefore, I love you more.”
“Yah, don’t start. But remember? I cook meals for you, therefore I love you more.”
“I love you a lot.”
“I love you a lot, lot, lot too.”
Jongin sniggered and scooted closer to his boyfriend, wrapping an arm around his torso.
“But I love you more.”
“What? Is this a competition? Who loves who more now?” Kyungsoo flicked Jongin’s forehead. “Don’t start, because I won’t lose to you, jagi.”
“Oh, are you challenging me? Because I’m not backing down.”
“Sounds fun?” Kyungsoo smirked, agreeing to the idea for fun.
“I’m going to prove to you that I love you more.”
Kyungsoo tightened his arm around Jongin’s waist. “Sure, jagi. I’d do the same for you too.”
“Cautiously?”
“Cautiously, but no one’s gonna stop me if I want to stick close to you. Not even Chanyeol.”
Jongin’s warm laughter spilled from his lips after. “Not even Junmyeon, hyung too.”
A peck on the lips and they resumed watching the cartoon, bodies leaning against each other’s and fingers finding their way into a tight entwined hold.
/
It was a stupid idea, really, but they agreed to do it and there was no backing out, though, it was just a game for fun.
The next morning, Kyungsoo woke up early at 7AM, cooking Jongin’s favourite fried chicken like the usual. At first, when they started living together as 12 EXO members, most of them couldn’t understand Jongin’s obsession of eating chicken every morning or whenever they just went out to eat together. They couldn’t understand him and they mostly couldn’t comprehend why Jongin secretly liked watching chicken documentaries on Animal Planet or why he bought stickers with chicken or drumstick designs and stuck them up at the front of his dresser. Or how one time, Jongin brought a drumstick pillow after they performed in Hong Kong and roamed the streets at night, only for the younger male to drag Sehun into a store like a ninja to purchase the pillow.
But as often as how Jongin boldly showed how much he loved chicken, everyone became used to him, but not Kyungsoo as he had been used to his boyfriend’s fascination for not just poodles, okay? But also chickens, chicks and fried chicken as weird you might find it to be.
Since their trainee days, they had been going out to different restaurants to eat and they both love eating when they went on dates, but of course, nobody knew about them dating as it had been kept a secret for long and Kyungsoo just adored Jongin so much that it didn’t bother him that his favourite dancer had a weird fascination of chickens. Also, the fans didn’t know that extent of passion yet.
So, at this moment, Kyungsoo was garnishing the five pieces of fried chicken he had prepared early in the morning before serving them on the table. Satisfied with his food presentation that was only meant for his precious boyfriend, a devil, however, walked into the kitchen and grabbed a chicken leg, taking a huge bite out of it. Kyungsoo was quick to whack the head of the said devil who went by the name of Park Chanyeol.
“That’s not yours, dipshit!”
Bits of chicken meat sprouted out from Chanyeol’s mouth when he protested and whined. “Aiff uuffrhyy,” meaning I’m hungry while he rubbed the spot on his head where Kyungsoo had hit him. He took another bite, yet, this time, Kyungsoo just rubbed the back of his neck in annoyance, thick brows forming a frown.
“Next time, if you want some chicken, cook it yourself! My chicken dishes are for Jongin’s tummy only, okay?”
Swallowing hard, Chanyeol casted him an offhanded look, still holding onto the chicken leg. “Then just cook more, we have stocks of chicken meat that could last for two weeks. And Jongin can just eat-“ he turned to the cooked fried chicken on the table and counted them with his forefinger. “He still got four so-”
“But you don’t understand!” Kyungsoo clucked his tongue and hissed in frustration, fingers combing his short hair, scowling. He was all ready to smack Chanyeol’s arm when someone pops out of nowhere.
“Oh, there’s chicken for breakfast!” Devil number two approached the kitchen, shamelessly grabbing the chicken wings just before Kyungsoo could smack his hand as well.
“Fuck you, Byun! That’s for Jongin!”
“Well get your ass fucked then! I’m hungry!”
Chanyeol obnoxiously ate the chicken leg before proceeding to get some rice from the rice cooker, rice which Kyungsoo had prepared for Jongin too.
“Yah, Soo, why did you cook rice for one person only?”
“Why so selfish, Soo?” Baekhyun licked his greasy lips and munched on the golden fried chicken before sitting down. The chair made a screeching noise as it is dragged on the floor and Kyungsoo would like very much to flip the table and to walk out of the kitchen because his plan was obviously ruined.
“I heard chicken!!” Another boisterous devil came in, rectangular smile on display and Kyungsoo was seconds away from kicking the boy’s balls.
“Oi, Chen Chen! Kyungsoo cooked us chicken!”
“Baekhyun, what the hell?!” Kyungsoo was fuming. His angry-o-meter increasing with every move Jongdae made and as a reflex, he immediately bolted forward and grabbed onto the plate of chicken.
A momentary pause. Chanyeol, apparently, was leaning his body on the counter, a plate of rice on his left hand while his right held his chicken leg. Baekhyun, was sitting, munching loudly, rolling his eyes at Kyungsoo and Jongdae; Jongdae glared at him and he already knew what would be the next words that would come out from his filthy mouth.
“Yah! I’m hungry!”
“Yeah fuck it! So all of you are hungry, so what!”
“Can you stop saying fuck for once, Soo? And just give one piece of chicken to Chen Chen!”
“Just give Jongin one piece and he’ll still live!” Chanyeol piped up, looking nonchalant and Kyungsoo just wanted to pull his hair out until he was bald.
Kyungsoo was pissed and if only he could strangle his friends but he couldn't because, yeah friends shouldn’t kill each other and he still had a soft spot for them despite it all. Thinking deeply into it, he finally regretted not cooking at least fifteen pieces of chicken meat, not just for Jongin but for everyone else. So instead of complaining and saying bullshit to his supportive friends, he looked down at the plate of chicken, sighed and just surrendered it on the table.
"Okay, you guys can have it all."
"But what about your lover boy?" Baekhyun lifted a brow, throwing the bone to the trash can, making a motion as if he was shooting a basketball into a hoop. The bone fell onto the floor instead.
Seeing that, Kyungsoo briskly grabbed it with tissues, sighed, and threw it in the trash.
"I'll just cook for him again later, without you guys in here," he said, hands on his waist. He eyed them hard and realized how they had indeed finished the chicken, even though there were two pieces left on the plate before. They were really hopeless without him.
"Jongin is still sleeping like a rock though." Jongdae licked his fingers clean unceremoniously. Kyungsoo didn't know how he was able to tolerate these friends of his for almost five years. Not that he was complaining because he was happy they accepted him and Jongin for what they are.
"Then I should just go back to sleep too." Defeated, and with one more glance at the chicken thieves, as Kyungsoo started walking away, Chanyeol spoke out.
"By the way Soo." He shifted towards Chanyeol, placing his dishes in the sink and letting the water run on them for a few seconds to rinse it.
"What?"
"I heard Jongin will be casted for another drama."
"Again??" Kyungsoo's lips lifted up in joy because his boyfriend deserved the spotlight to shine in the acting industry. But also, consequently, they won't be seeing each other that much again.
"I heard that too yesterday from manager hyung. I think the drama will be set in Japan. It's a Japanese drama in short." Baekhyun added. Kyungsoo kept his eyes wide open, he wasn't sure of what to feel now because Jongin going to Japan to shoot his new drama meant long distance communication, and Kyungsoo also had to bear with it for who knew how long.
"They're obviously pressuring you both." Jongdae leaned forward in his seat, arms crossed. "Remember? They asked you two to break up, but you two are too stubborn it didn't work so they resorted to throwing you guys projects to pressure you both. It's happening again, I guess?"
Kyungsoo was aware of that and he would never ever forget that time the management called them just to advise them that they should break up for they were ruining the reputation of the company and EXO itself.
That time, he and Jongin were surprised that they were caught after being careful whenever they were together. But maybe all secrets were meant to be known in the end, so it was about time the company knew about their relationship. Instead of breaking up though, they still kept their relationship, but kept cautious all throughout the years.
"They can pressure and stress us up all they want, but that's not gonna make me leave Jongin," Kyungsoo said with a bite and he would live those words for as far as he could go and he would never ever let go of Jongin's hand just because they were in a relationship.
"For sure, Jongin feels the same. That boy, seriously, he can’t take his eyes off you! I saw the photos around the net and I swear if they see it again he'll be scolded again. Tsk. Reckless kid." Baekhyun chided, pouring water in a glass and drinking it up in one shot.
"Morning..." Another voice came in. It was Sehun and his bed hair was sticking up in different directions. He looked ridiculous, but still good looking nonetheless. He pulled open the refrigerator to get a bottle of milk.
"Sehun, there's chicken in here!" Jongdae exclaimed jovially, grinning widely and the heavy atmosphere earlier dropped down to a light one, which Kyungsoo was thankful for because he didn't want to stress himself up early in the morning; he didn't want their management to make him feel antsy and furious again.
"I'll go back to bed." He whisked out of the kitchen right after receiving nods from the others. They didn’t mention anything about the management again as they very well knew how it had been the source of Kyungsoo's stress lately. But Kyungsoo could manage, because he was not that stupid to let go of the person he loved just because everyone was against it.
Slipping under the covers beside Jongin in his bed, Kyungsoo stared at the side profile of his boyfriend in the meantime and smiled. Jongin had his mouth hanging open while sleeps and that didn't fail to make him chuckle every time, so before going back to sleep, he closed Jongin's hanging jaw before succumbing to sleep. He would just cook chicken later or maybe order a bucket of KFC for Jongin. That was it.
And as planned, Kyungsoo cooked kimchi spaghetti and ordered two buckets of KFC chicken for everyone, but one of the bucket was for Jongin, and Jongin only, to indulge. Along with the food he served to the other, he wrote a small note with a doodle of them together holding hands with hearts around them.
"More food for my growing boyfriend. Good luck working up those big biceps of yours HAHA!"
/
Working out in the gym, dancing and filming - juggling them all was a hassle, and Jongin really did start working out because their fans seemed to want it, and of course, Kyungsoo too.
So after his three hour filming, he went straight to the gym, but not forgetting to inform Kyungsoo beforehand about it. To his knowledge, the latter was hanging out with his actor squad somewhere in Hongdae.
Along with doing squats, running on the treadmill had him thinking about what kind of surprise he'd be doing for his boyfriend. He couldn't think of one. But what could be something that might express that he did love the elder more? It was a funny game. In fact, they really didn't need to prove who loved the other more, but for the sake of having fun once in awhile, spicing up their secret relationship, they could indulge in it. Besides, Jongin loved to express how he loved his favorite person through actions.
As he was focused and more concentrated while exercising, and lo and behold Frank Ocean was playing in the background, a thought finally came to his mind and a smile curled up his lips; he was sure that it would be a nice way to express his love for the elder singer.
Right after he was done at the gym, he immediately went back to the dorm and called her sister Jihye.
"Noona, I have a favor to ask," he said, phone pressed to his ear while scrolling down the online shop he was on as he stepped foot in their room.
"What?"
"I want you to get something for me then let's meet when you get them, noona. I'll send you the details on Line. Love you!"
"For Kyungsoo again?" His sister giggled on the other line and a pout formed his lips because his sister would tease him again. "Couple things again?" His sister really did know him very well. And she really knew the drill that once Jongin called, it only meant he needed her to order things for him and Kyungsoo because he couldn't just use his name to order suspicious things such as couple stuff, because that might have people thinking that he was dating some girl. And just buying couple stuff for Soojung, though in reality, there wasn’t really a relationship between them. Just close friends.
He hummed, still pouting. "Please?"
Jihye laughed at him and Jongin whined, though he was used to his sister's teasing whenever Kyungsoo was mentioned. "Okay, okay, baby bear. Send me the deets and we'll meet next week okay? Just take a visit here in Kamong!"
"Fine." He moved his laptop forwards so he could lie down on his stomach while browsing the internet for more couple things; couple plaid shirts, couple pants, couple caps, couple shirts, couple everything and anything that he sees, just couple-worthy things, Jongin won't bat an eyelash in buying them.
Once his sister received his message, Jongin eventually opened another tab to post onto their fanboard photos of him and a message for his fans before messaging Kyungsoo with an, "Already home! Take care and want me to fry chicken, hyung?"
He got a yes as an answer and Jongin immediately bolted out of their room to cook in the kitchen. Thanks to his kitchen genius boyfriend he was now able to fry chicken and know if it was cooked or not.
He sent another message to Kyungsoo while he was cooking, "Love you, hyung mwah!"

A week passed, Jongin had never been happier as Kyungsoo was playing their game seriously, like making sure Jongin got a back massage every night, eating the right amount of food, giving him cute doodles of them together every morning and kisses before he left the dorm and when he arrived back into his arms.
In return, Jongin gave his boyfriend neck massages, helped him with the laundry, he even attempted to sing Justin Bieber songs to him before they went to sleep and not forgetting to spit out cheesy lines he knew that would make Kyungsoo squirming into a mush.
Also, Jongin finally got the items from his sister and he couldn't help but squeal when he got a hold of the couple scarves he wanted. Not just that, her sister also gave him a navy blue scarf so he was feeling joyous over the new items he acquired. It was a very good week for him.
Today was also the last day of Kyungsoo's filming so Jongin was in a rush to go back to the dorm. With his disguise, nobody recognized that he was EXO's Kai and he was glad he survived the streets of Seoul and unwanted sasaengs.
Returning back with a paper bag in hand, Junmyeon and Sehun greeted him as he toed off his shoes and removed his face mask.
"What is that?" Sehun raised a brow when he looked up from his phone screen, while Junmyeon was clutching onto a throw pillow, watching dramas on TV. The latter also spared Jongin a brief look.
"Uh, scarves?" Jongin answered in a flat tone. His phone vibrated at the same time in his pocket and when he fished it out, he saw Kyungsoo had messaged him with a, "On my way home."
"Scarves? May I see?" Sehun pocketed his phone, looking curiously to these scarves Jongin bought.
"No, you can't see them," Jongin hugged the paper bag to his chest and pouted. "It's for Kyungsoo hyung."
Junmyeon reacted with a face palm. "Aish, another couple stuff again?"
Jongin hung his head low as he knew how Junmyeon had been stressed over him and Kyungsoo. "Y-Yes..." he mumbled and walked briskly into his room, but only to be called out by Junmyeon again.
"Jongin." It was stern and as much as Jongin wanted to run away to avoid Junmyeon's lingering stern stare, he couldn't. So he stayed, not turning to the elder but rather waiting for him to say the next words. "I'm not mad. You know that I accept what you have with Kyungsoo. But you guys have to be careful, am I clear?"
Jongin knew that. Jongin knew what he had to do, but there were just times that he couldn't stop himself from lingering too close with Kyungsoo whenever they were at schedules. It was not that he wanted to defy the management's orders, but this was him loving Kyungsoo and nothing could ever stop him from feeling this way.
Nothing could stop him from staring at his boyfriend during concerts, nothing could stop him if his body was magnetized by Kyungsoo's presence. It was only natural for him to do so, so he couldn't just stay away. But he was trying for the sake of their career, for their group’s sake as a whole.
"I know, hyung." He mumbled, and then he turned to their leader and gave him a thankful smile. "Thank you for reminding me."
"Just be careful, okay? We can't have the management doing unfair things to you guys again. That's what I'm only concerned for."
Jongin understood what he meant so he answered with a nod. Sehun, on the other hand threw him a wide smile and two thumbs up. Jongin was grateful that despite everything that happened to their group, everyone was still supportive of him and Kyungsoo.
"Jongin, you're back. Manager hyung wants to see you." Minseok appeared from his room and gave him a pat on the back as he made his way over to the kitchen.
At times like this, Jongin could feel his anxiety building up whenever their manager called him for a personal talk. Taking deep breaths and spying Junmyeon and Sehun's concerned eyes on him, he sauntered out of the dorm to the company building, still holding onto the paper bag that held his gift for Kyungsoo.
/
"Where is Jongin?" Kyungsoo had finally gotten back, but instead of seeing Jongin in their room and on his phone, he was greeted instead by Chanyeol, strumming on his guitar.
"I just got back. Didn't he say he's going to the gym?" Chanyeol reminded him and started plucking a tune as he hummed along.
“I thought he got back.” Kyungsoo had a paper bag in hand. Didn't Jongin reach back home an hour ago? Clicking his tongue, he brought out his phone to message the boy. He asked him where he is as he throws himself on his bed, but not after he placed the paper bag on the desk - it contained his gift for his precious boyfriend.
Instantly, he got a reply.
“On my way back. Manager hyung talked to me for my Japanese drama ;")”
So it was already confirmed, Kyungsoo smiled, proud and happy for his boyfriend. Unknown to others, it had always been SMent who sell their artists to different productions and little did everyone know that it was also the company who pushed Kyungsoo to venture to the film industry though it had also been his dream to make dramas and movies.
However, SMent had a hidden agenda to it as it had been their tactic to separate him from Jongin so they would break up due to the lack of time spent together. But it was a futile move and because of that stunt, Kyungsoo became well known to the film industry and hopefully Jongin would to. From their company’s devious plans to separate them, they gained something instead.
When Jongin got back home, he was all smiles and he immediately informed everyone about his new acting project. He was very excited, and it had Kyungsoo grinning in joy, arms spreading wide open as he caught Jongin in a warm hug.
"I'm so proud of you, jagi." He ruffled the dancer's hair and patted his cheek affectionately.
"Thank you, hyung. I thought I was going to get scolded again, but I'm glad that wasn't the case." Jongin chuckled and then his eyes sparkled; he recalled something. Kyungsoo was quick to take notice of the brown paper bag Jongin was holding onto, until suddenly, a warm plaid scarf was wrapped around his neck by his boyfriend.
"A scarf?" A snort then a short laughter. "You bought me something?" He pinched Jongin's cheek and grinned some more, eyes crinkling.
"I have one too, but it’s a different shade." Jongin fished out another plaid scarf, showing it to Kyungsoo. "Jihye noona bought it for me!"
Kyungsoo grabbed onto the scarf and scooted closer to wrap the soft cloth around his boyfriend's neck. Minseok who had suddenly witnessed everything as he passed by them in the hallway to their rooms muttered an apology, though a huge smile adorned his squishy face.
"Couple scarves. Hm. Guess what?" Kyungsoo beamed. "I have something for you too." He grabbed Jongin's hand and entered their room. "I told you I love you more, Jongin. I bought it myself. I didn't ask Seungsoo hyung to buy one for me."
Chanyeol, who was sitting on his bed, cocked an eyebrow at them, probably judging them for wearing scarves inside their warm room, but he didn’t say anything. He just let the lovers be as they wouldn't dare cast him a look now that they were in their own world.
"I love you more though!" Jongin whined cutely, yet he waited for Kyungsoo to reveal the item he’d bought for him.
"Here," Kyungsoo handed him a blue plaid shirt and smiled. "Insung hyung and Kwangsoo hyung accompanied me earlier to buy that. So as not to be suspicious because people might get the wrong impression of me buying something for some girl. Ha."
"Funny how we got each other gifts today."
"Yeah. But still, I think I won this round." Kyungsoo smirked, but then showed another identical plaid shirt like he had for Jongin, just that this one was smaller in size.
"Nah, you have no originality. I thought about couple items first." Jongin chuckled endearingly and sat on the edge of Kyungsoo's bed, trying on the plaid shirt. "I like this, hyung."
"We need a blue one." Kyungsoo sat next to him then noticed another scarf from Jongin's paper bag. "You had another one?"
"Noona bought it for me." Jongin said. They were both still wearing their couple scarves.
Kyungsoo felt the rough material of the scarf on his palms. "I like this."
"Don't tell me you're going to steal it away from me like how you stole my favorite green plaid shirt?"
"Why? You're my boyfriend. It's fine to share. It’s not stealing when you allow me to wear your clothes." Kyungsoo pouted and held the navy blue scarf close to his chest. Jongin pinched his cheek lightly.
"I'm just teasing." His merry laughter died out. "But you know hyung, I think we don't need to prove who loves the other more. It's obvious that we love each other equally."
"I still think I love you more because I'm very cautious in public, I always make sure we're not that obvious." Kyungsoo brought that up which had Jongin gasping.
"Well, I think I do love you more because unlike you, I always make sure to look after you in public and make sure you won't get bumped by a closing door again in airports. And!" Jongin wagged his forefinger for emphasis. "I always follow you around and I don't fucking care what others think about us. Therefore, I love you more."
Kyungsoo cracked up, clutching his stomach. He sees Chanyeol across them shaking his head. "I do the same though!"
"I just told you we love each other equally!"
"Nah, I still love you more. I always accompany you to the hospital when you injure yourself!"
"Well, I was there too when you injured yourself back in MAMA." Jongin won't let himself lose this silly game of theirs.
"I bought you your Dragon Ball Z mangas and a Vulma figurine!"
"I did buy you a Ryouma Echizen uniform too!"
"I kissed you first!"
"I had a crush on you first!"
Kyungsoo couldn't stop himself from laughing. "Okay, okay, enough of this silly, seemingly non-existent game."
Jongin's shoulders quaked as his laughter died into quiet chortles. "I just love you. That's it."
"This scarf is mine now." Kyungsoo smirked, already putting the navy blue scarf into his cabinet.
"But noona gave that to me!"
"I'll text noona then and tell her it's mine."
"Fine!" Jongin stomped his foot though he wasn't really upset. He already knew before that that Kyungsoo was going to use his scarf anyway. Kyungsoo liked wearing Jongin's stuff instead of his own. It was just that lately, he hadn't been doing it because some fans could detect that some of the clothes he wore were Jongin's.
"Aigoo, jagi is mad. Call me jagi in the concert again." Kyungsoo teased, poking Jongin's hard biceps while giggling.
"Do you want them to make another scandal?" Jongin huffed pretentiously. The scandal had been their inside joke since the previous year.
"A scandal probably with Taemin this time?" Kyungsoo could be on a teasing mode when he wanted too, and today was one of those days.
"What kind of scandal? That I'm a two timer?" Jongin doubled over in laughter, finding it funny if ever the management did something to him and he thought that would be impossible because SMent is a homophobic piece of shit.
"Yeah. Two timer Kim Jongin dates Jung Soojung and Lee Taemin at the same time. But heads up! Soojung and Taemin are dating!" Kyungsoo punched Jongin's arm lightly as he laughed hysterically.
"My god you two, I will tell this to Taemin!" Chanyeol joined in and cackles as well. Everyone knew that Soojung and Taemin were the ones dating, not Jongin and Soojung. They also found it funny that SMent chose some girl for him with a Soo in her name too. So obvious.
"Kyungsoo hyung said that, not me!" Jongin defended and pushed his boyfriend playfully, spills of their laughter harmonizing.
When they finally calmed down from their high of laughter, the eye contact they had got Jongin bumping his forehead with his boyfriend.
"Ow!" Kyungsoo flicked Jongin's forehead in retaliation and snorted, lips curving into a heart smile.
"Shall we continue with the game or not?"
"It didn't feel like we played it at all." Kyungsoo gathered their new couple items to bring to the laundry. "But you know what? We don't need to play that game. We're too old for that."
"I'd rather say, we're just too high in love, nothing's gonna stop us now." Jongin pressed a quick kiss on Kyungsoo's cheek before turning to a gagging Chanyeol. "Not sorry, hyung."
Kyungsoo laughed one more.
"Keep going, just don't make out while I'm still here." Chanyeol said good-naturedly and smiled at them before returning to his own business.
Getting up with their shirts and the scarf around his arms, Kyungsoo said, "Could you remove my scarf now so I can wash them? Give me your scarf too."
Obliging, Jongin gave him their couple scarves and grinned. "Let's wear it when we go to Bangkok next week."
"I want to wear the blue scarf first."
"Your choice, my choice." Grinning, it was finally settled what they would be using the next week and together, like a puppy and owner, though they both play the roles most of the time, they washed their new items together while exchanging kisses here and there as they played with the bubbles, both hearts swelling in joy and without a worry about what might happen to them the next day or the next and the next.
They just simply love each other equally, and that was what the most important.
