His owners want him sold. Today I found out he had been looked at and ridden by a couple of people with at least one who definitely wanted to purchase him. Horse people often say this but sometimes don't bother contacting the seller again. However the news still hit me hard since Rocky and I have become pretty close. I had planned on riding him while putting Kelly up for sale. If things go the way the owners plan and his price is low enough ($1400 bucks) he will go quickly.
I've already spent extra money I had on a new saddle I haven't even had a chance to ride. This also means I do not have the immediate cash to purchase him.
I am feeling heart sick at this whole affair. Now once Kel is sold I'll have no horse to ride since to be quite honest, I don't really trust Kathy and Randy's horses not to get all stupid. I've seen them in action and its not pretty.
Unless magic happens in the next 72 hours or so, Rocky just might be gone. If so, I will not be happy for some time.
