Dr. Horrible
Lots of people may have seen this already, but Dr. Horrible is back online. For those that haven't seen this, or heard of it, it's a 42 minute internet musical starring Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day (who also did a pretty spiffy web series called The Guild), and Nathan Fillion. It was created by Joss Whedon, along with his siblings and other people. Anyway, the reason I say that it's "back online" is because the original plan was to have it available for a few days, and then take it down so people could then buy it on iTunes or on DVD (with musical commentary), essentially it was Whedon's pet project during the writer's strike, kind of a giant screw you to the studios. He funded most of it himself (I think?), so yeah. I'll be buying the soundtrack and DVD personally.
So I think more people watch it, it's good. Best line in it is Nathan Fillion (as Captain Hammer) that starts out with "This is not the hammer..." and goes from there. You'll know which line it is. Also, Bad Horse, the thoroughbred of Sin is another great line.
Oh, the downside to watching it right now is that there are ads between the acts, but it's free at least.
