Hwark
In this morning's Yeomen rehearsal, I made my entrance, started to sing "What," but promptly remembered the word was supposed to be "Hark." Too late! It came out "Hwark."
I would have been OK if my friend Jack hadn't lost it (as well as the rest of the company!).
I have a feeling my "Hwark" moment will become as legendary as my "I want to sing" moment in last year's The Sound of Music.
The shows are going well. Desert Song had a fairly lousy dress but an excellent opening. Mikado was well received, and it finally feels solid. My cast opens Oklahoma Friday afternoon.
