NO

No. No. No. No. No. No. NO. NO! NOOOOOOO! FRICKING NOOOO!!!!

Alright, Warner Brothers, let me make one thing clear to you. Us Harry Potter fans are, and I admit this, impatient. I thought I was going to explode during the last few days leading up to the Deathly Hallows release next year. It has been over a full year now (I'm talking the whole three-hundred and sixty-five days here), and our thirst needs quenching. Yes, the movies may pale in comparison next to the books, but the Harry Potter movies are still quite entertaining/something we'd also stay up till midnight for. Everyone was counting down the days until November 21. And what does Warner Brothers do?

They move the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to July 17, 2009.

That's right, people. July. Fricking. Seventeenth. 2009.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!??!?!

Please excuse the added punctuation marks, overuse of the exclamation point and unabated rage--it's something I tend to do when I'm majorly peeved. Do you see the mood icon? Do you see how dangerous Light Yagami looks? Yeah, that's me right now. Warner Brothers has a freaking death wish.

Okay, I would understand a delay for the film. The teaser trailer was released ridiculously late, considering its release date (*ahem*, excuse me, former release date). But eleven months? Are these people insane? The reasons you provide don't appease me, WB. You say that you want a summer release because that will increase your sales? What more do you people want?? There are legions of fans all over the world who will see this movie if it comes out on Christmas, New Year's, Halloween, Friday the thirteenth, or even freaking October 57th! The latter doesn't even exist!

Holy fricking cow. I was scrolling the page of Mugglenet, and to add the icing on the cake of this glorious day, I discover Mugglecast has interviewed Stephenie Meyer. Okay, thanks a lot for your betrayal, staff of Mugglenet. What is that I hear in the distance? Could it be a song from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride?

Animals: "Deception! Disgrace! BETRAYING THE ONE WITH THE SCAR ON HIS FACE!"

I can say one thing, Mugglenet staff: They ain't talking about Scar or Kovu. This scar is familiar--lightning bolt shaped. Ring a bell?

I haven't listened to the podcast, but apparently they discuss the "saga" (oh my gosh, get it through your heads--Twilight is no saga) and how it's related to Harry Potter (must be a pretty short conversation, since the only things Twilight and Harry Potter probably have in common is the usage of the word "the"). Then they talk about who would win in a fight--Edward or Harry? Pfft, they'd better say Harry, or I don't know if I'll be able to go on Mugglenet anymore.

Edit: Alright, I just listened to the Mugglecast thing, and my anger has flared up once again. I just...I can't take it. Meyer is officially on my bad list now, like if I saw her I don't know what I would do or say. In the who-would-win thing between Edward and Harry, her response was, "Edward. He'd snap Harry's neck in 0.1 seconds." I hate her so much now. That arrogant little wannabe. And what's worse? The Mugglenet people AGREED WITH HER. *cries*
