(no subject)
Dragon*Con was excellent, I kept myself pretty busy. I did finish my new Eowyn costume, and won Best Movie Costume Adaptation at the LotR costume contest. Pretty sweet. I also did the parade this year with my sister. I made her costume too, it was her character from LotR Online, it looked really good! :D I have basically no photos of either costume, so if anyone got photos I would love to see them!
I didn't really wear costumes much on Saturday, just for the parade and then I changed to go to panels and the dealers room.
Sunday Night I ended up wearing my Lady of the Lake (or Ariel as most people assume) costume with Judy's Monty Python group, and we found some other Holy Grail cosplayers and had an impromptu gathering which was very popular! Super fun! As with Eowyn, I have no pics, and would love to see any that people have! :D
Otherwise I gave out a ton of business cards, met a lot of new people, and generally had a fun time.
This next month is going to be super busy. I have to get ready for NYCC/NYAF, I have several commissions, and 2 bridal shows to get ready for. Not to mention the other proects that I am just in the design phase of. I am making at least one new sample bridal gown before the shows, and ideally I want to have 2 dresses completed.
