We are having an incredibly slow day at work, but luckily our internet filter is down too, so I can browse...
I have been working every night on stuff for the business, sketches, sample gown, research, etc... the collections are coming together, but I want to have at least another 20 sketches done for the catalogue. And then I have to do back view flat sketches of all of them! I want to have a lot of options for people who might want to order a dress!
I have my first show in under a month, and I am getting a little nervous! I have to still do my company registration, but I am probably going to do it through Legal Zoom. Has anyone ever used them before? Its certainly cheaper than hiring a lawyer, and doing it on your own in NY is difficult... I also have to do a trademark, but thats ridiculously expensive, so I will probably have to wait a few months. ugh!
Another one of my good friends is getting married this fall, so I am making her dress, which I am really excited about! She wants something inspired by Arwen's dresses from Lord of the Rings, so I am excited about that! Its going to be fun! :D
Well I am about to get out of here finally, and its home to do more art and sew! Gotta finish this new gown by the 25th for a photoshoot! :D
