Greetings from SF

Hey folks, how's everyone doing? (No, really. How are you?)

I'm here in SF at tuliphead and gilmore427's place (my home-away-from-home). I arrived Wednesday night to see mc chris rock the Elbo Room, mostly chilled out yesterday, and in a bit I'm going out to Golden Gate Park to find some geocaches.

As for the rest of the weekend, it's a bit up in the air at the moment -- except for the Veteran's Day parade in SF on Sunday, which I will be participating in with my comrades at Legion Post 448. I encourage any of you in town to come share some love with a whole lot of deserving people who helped ensure what freedoms and rights we do have here in the U.S.

Post 448 -- primarily queer veterans, or allies thereof -- will be #70, 71, and 72 in the line up. It sounds like we will be in our usual parade configuration: Color Guard first, marching unit, then the commander's ancient yellow beater pick-up (decorated in some festive way).

I still would like to get over to Ritual, if my favorite barista is working (and maybe not, even). I may still have some unscheduled time late tonight, sometime Saturday, or Sunday after the parade; I wouldn't mind company in the park this afternoon either. Hit my cell (friends) or via AIM/YIM to get in touch with me, or just comment here.

Looks like a lovely day out!

sf, vet
