I really should be unconscious
But I feel the need to note that I have safely arrived in Colorado Springs.
Today involved:
- TSA emptying the entire Tardis (aka my purse) into a bin to re-run it through the x-ray (twice) to be sure that I didn't have a canister of pepper spray. (I think they were seeing my flash drives...or lip gloss...or _something_. *shrug* Nothing was confiscated.)
- If you want a bag checked for free...be the last one onto your full flight with no space left in the overhead bins.
- It's not entirely comforting to know that planes work like all computers. Reboot it and see if it stops doing funny things.
- Denver airport is Friggin' Huge!(tm) and I'm not sure it wouldn't have been faster to just rent a car there and drive to Colorado Springs. Two hour layover, plus an extra hour delay for maintenance issues.
- Pride goeth before Murphy being a complete dick. In a fit of hubris I opted against the GPS in the rental car. Hilarity ensues...
Ok...turning into a pumpkin now. Have to be elsewhere far too early tomorrow to still be awake.
