Well. In light of new information, I've decided to build a boat. A sailboat, to be precise. That cat -- animal -- thing, says this place is just a giant island surrounded by water -- by ocean. Well, oceans lead to other places. Memento isn't the only land in this entire world. It can't be. I refuse to believe it

You said you traveled for a few days. Maybe if you'd traveled for a year I'd agree with you and throw in the towel. But worlds are enormous. You never know what you might find.

And I plan on leaving for a good while longer than a few days.

I'd like to think that psychic flight is a good deal speedier than a boat. I checked along our entire latitude, and spotted nothing along the horizon. I saw no birds during the whole trip, except near the end. I thought I finally found something, but it was just Memento again. If you're going to check, I suppose you could search from the North port across to the South, but if they are indeed hiding something from us, I would sooner suspect that it was beneath the water.

It may be speedier, but like you said, you get tired. It might take me longer, but I'm willing to bet I can go further in a boat. And hell, if this place really is just a world of water and this tiny little island, then at least I'll find out for certain.

Then again. Maybe there's a way to another world around here somewhere. And you're right. There could be something underwater.

Just wish I could hold my breath long enough to find out.

I'm not going to bother. Here's the map I was granted. *gives Riku the map* All the other wishes from the bamboo festival were granted accurately, and I have no reason now, after a brief check, to suspect that my map is lying. I believe there's nothing at the surface of the water, at least. But it says nothing about below it.

((OOC: Our characters aren't supposed to know this, but the mods say that Eden's totally surrounded by water. Nothing else there, and the space above Eden is warped in a circular fashion so that you'd end up back at Eden. 8D Just FYI, so no one suddenly goes "hay i spot land".))

-takes it, studying it with a frown. purses his lips, before thrusting the map back at him.- Well, you know what? I don't care. I'm going to get out of this place if it's the last thing I do. Whether or not the people holding us here want to let me.

((OOC: Lol, yeah I know. It's just in Riku's nature to be stubborn and search for a way out. I assumed Memento was surrounded by water or something similar from the start, so people couldn't go anywhere. ))
