Well. In light of new information, I've decided to build a boat. A sailboat, to be precise. That cat -- animal -- thing, says this place is just a giant island surrounded by water -- by ocean. Well, oceans lead to other places. Memento isn't the only land in this entire world. It can't be. I refuse to believe it.
Went to the library to read up on it, and got some plans. Looks complicated, but at the same time I can't wait to get to it. I still haven't given up on getting the hell out of here. Being trapped is not a feeling I ever want to put up with.

Going to the lumber yard tomorrow, to pick up supplies and things. Wish me luck.
((OOC: I have no idea how much lumber and stuff he's going to need, really. I looked up prices of raw materials when building rowboats, and it got pretty close to $1000. So I'm going to just estimate up since this is a sailboat and bigger than most rowboats, and say $2000. I'm too lazy to do any real calculations, so if the mods want me to go higher or lower it's fine. ))
