For you. A cookie recipe. I've seen these described as a variety of shortbread, but I find them rather far from the shortbread prototype. They're butter cookies, anyway. I have acquired a lembas iron (well, it's technically a "waffle cone iron", but who's counting?). Cost me all of $8. camwyn, others, if you'd like one, I can go back to the store and get it for you.

Also, I have acquired a box of dried guava slices. Yummy.

I have made a Thing. A Thing of reasonable tastiness, at that. (Basically, a really rather sweet cornmeal porridge. No, sweeter than that. At least it was before I threw the extra water in. Am now dismayed at diluted sweetness and considering opening up that bottle of vanilla-flavored corn syrup in the kitchen. Hmm.)
