So...yeah...I'm amazingly overwhelmed with work as I often am at the end of Spring semesters. What is it about Spring that makes the professors decide they hate you?
Anyway, the lack of sleep you can get away with is mystifying and alarming. Last night, for instance, as i was staring at the computer screen and reading but not actually being able to comprehend what was written, i was zoned in so deeply that i started to freak out because in my peripheral vision around the laptop screen, the room had blurrred out and i thought i was back in my room instead of taking up the kitchen table. It was really disturbing. I have also developed this pain in my neck which is probably the result of the way i sit when i'm staring unseeingly at the computer screen or because of the tension in my shoulders from typing or, i don't know, stress. And for some weird reason, my left bicep is sore like i've been lifting weights A LOT and i have no idea why. My tricep isn't even affected. It's just the bicep. Weirds me out.
But yeah, I haven't really been getting a lot of sleep this whole week. I've been getting just enough so my brain can process and sort through stuff, but not enough that my body can be completely rested. About two or three hours a night. Last night, I actually got 6 because i just crashed and couldn't concentrate anymore. If i survive this semester, I think i will survive a zombie attack.
On another note, i have been watching a lot of Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Justice League because everyone needs a break and i dig that stuff. Anyway, the fact that body dismorphic disorder and that non-aging syndrome thing was dealt with in Batman totally blew me away. It also made me laugh at the weirdness. Also, there was this kid in Batman that was totally gay and it was really funny how they just threw him in there for like 10 seconds. It was so random.
Oh, and i have to mention that my mom thought that David Blaine was telepathic. Seriously.
