so the justice system actually works
Who else feels surprised that Bernie Madoff actually got sentenced to 150 years jail time? Not surprised by how much he got, I mean surprised that it actually happened. He was a crooked creep, but for some reason i thought he was going to get some suspended sentence or out on a technicallity. He stole BILLIONS!! He was throwing the money around. It's the sort of thing people do when they know they can get away with it. I'm really relieved that the system worked. Did you know 150 years is the maximum amount of jail time you can be sentenced?
On another note, soap operas are so ridiculous sometimes. Kids grow up so quickly. Literally. Last year, they were about 4 or 5. This year, they are 15. It's crazy. I just saw it happen twice. One was a girl named Kristina, the other was a boy named Michael. The kid starts out as a red head, goes into a coma when he's shot in the head at like 10, wakes up accelerated to 16 years old, 10 episodes later, with black as night hair, and, for some reason, now he's hispanic. I just saw a bit of another episode, now he's blonde. Another thing they did? Brought the same actress back as another character. Not just once, but twice. See, the person who originated the part of Carly was this great actress that I really liked as Carly. When that actress left, the character was immortalized so they replaced her with another actress. I think 3 people have played Carly since. Now, i randomly see it on t.v. and when i saw the original Carly back with black hair, i was like "whoa!!" The thing is, it WASN'T the original Carly. Now she's playing someone named Claudia Zacchara. Did they honestly think people wouldn't notice? Then when Emily got strangled to death, they immediately brought the current actress playing her back as another character, Rebecca, to play her twin sister with brown hair. Like that isn't COMPLETELY obvious. Now that we know she's a twin, they let her have her blonde hair back. What a crock.
