An actual post? Whaaaaaaaat?
I've been neglecting my poor journal as of late. I haven't even written any more fanfiction (except that one at the Anders/kitties comm...) to put up here.
A lot has gone on and I've been meaning to make a post but alas, I am lazy. So, instead of some profound and/or depressing nonsense I will rant about PC games and how I am (*gasp*) not a big fan of them.
Not too sure why but I've gotten my hands on quite a few PC games within the last month or so. Amnesia: The Dark Descent (for sure worth getting used to controls and my computer's inadequacy) Lord of the Rings Online, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Okay the first one you can only get on the computer (again, WORTH IT) and same goes for LotRO and that one's not bad either... For whatever reason MMOs don't give me a problem. Then we get to the Mass Effects... I got them for free for the PC so there was no way I could turn them down but my computer makes playing it less fun than watching it. It freezes a lot, the graphics aren't as nice as they could be but the really annoying thing is shooting. Oh, Maker how I hate shooting in Mass Effect... I'm sure on a good computer or a console it would be lots of fun but on here? Ugh, I'd rather shoot myself. It lags way too much and then when I get it to start moving it goes way too fast and totally misses the target by a mile. Now, this could just be me sucking at games but it annoys the crap out of me. I'm not saying it's a bad game by any means, just that it annoys me on the PC.
TL;DR I suck at PC games.
