Well, I believe the word *Etymodius* does not pull any chords in you readers' minds. That was just yet another attempt to be a bit perspicuous. I tried to remember what was the name of the ancient God of Words (if there was any for that case). And in the obvious lack of access to the google server, I forced my gray cells to do some imaginative prognosis and came up with this rather bizarre but nice-sounding term Etymodius. I am yet to check for its official availability.
Well, the point here is that, I stumbled upon a few incidents and situations (random probing with the backlogs) which never could be explained in a single word. I shall share a few of the incidents here.
1. You are walking and a fellow X comes right opposite to you. Its a situation where you give way or X does. So, you move towards the left, and not rather surprisingly, X moves too, towards the left. Then both of you get a mutual apology creeping up your minds and you move to the right. But again, there goes X to the right as well! So... what IS this called? Is there a word for this? I mean, its quite a process to be explained like this and it would be very useful if one had a word for it.
2. This one is a bit similar to the previous one. You meet X. You initiate a conversation and at the very right moment, X does as well. Then both of you pause, then, there again, both of you restart!. A redundant instant process. What is this?
That's it for now. I am already amused and perplexed with these. They do sound weird. And coming back to Etymodius, well, its a possibility.
