I developed this insane love for crosswords two years ago, when desperation nullified my attempts to entertain my brain. crosswords are a serious delight to an etymo-lover. I began on the Fontana Book of crossword Puzzles and as I slowly groomed and tamed the appetite, I switched over to newspapers. Then, I was with The New Indian Express. Their crosswords are tougher compared to The Hindu Crossword. I used to get hardly one or two right. But then I switched to THC. And that was a treat. The cryptic clues, when answered gave one the same feeling of accomplishment as of the highest orders. Of late I have been doing pretty good at them with anagrams and concealment and numerous other clues. It is just another exercise. But the fun part is worth a mention. I next want to try The Guardian crosswords and NYT crosswords. I have completed exactly 4 ThCs until now. Looking to improvise.
