Idealism and matter

Ahem....blah blah blah...vroooom...period. Things have been pretty fast these days. I have been giving in a lot into the philosophical stuffs off late. I was always fascinated by the idealism concept portrayed in the movie THE MATRIX. The movie is flawless (uh...am selfish) and the matrix concept is amazing. currents.
Well i recently read a book on this topic. Idealism And The Philosophy Of Matter, by Harun Yahya. It actually brings out a very different and contrasting picture of the life we all are living. The very first chapter of the book has got some real food.. yummy. One of them goes like, Do you believe, that, whatever you see, is outside your eyes?..oh man... how many times should i admire these set of words. Actually , i was myself flabbergasted when i started thinking about it as such. It was like, how is it possible... or otherwise, how is it not possible. The concept is too good.
it tells that what we are living in right now is all crap actually. Its all a part of as multithreaded program which has a part of it written into everythin possible. How would it be if you are shot right through your ribs and you suddenly wake up in an entirely different world only to find out that the past was just a dream. now that's something to think over. Its exactly done and dusted in the matrix, where Morpheus (sigh) tells Neo that he might be in a state of confusion where he cannot make out the difference between dream and reality.
One's intellectual ignorance must convince the self that whatever he sees or feels is just a set of electronic signals interpreted by the brain. All that you see, feel, hear, touch, taste and smell is inside your head. its been created by your brain. in reality , you still do not know what lies outside our power.
This is one damn theory that bends all forks out of nothing i thought. But then there's always the fate ... huh.. (gulp)...guess will come back with clearer stuff..heh
