Movie review! Public Enemies
I saw public enemies last night.
It was like bad sex.
Started good, with the anticipation of great things. Then it began to drag, and I began to wonder how long it would last. It went on and on, and when it was finally over I scrambled for the door yelling "I'll call you!" over my shoulder as I went out the door.
Good idea, excellent production values. poor choice of filming styles. lots of handicam crap (WHY?!? it looks like ass, dontchaknow?) and a rough editing to make the film look old. Also, the volume varies greatly from scene to scene.
So much wasted potential.
