*ahem* is this thing on?
So I haven't updated in forever. I am still alive. I've been a little out of touch. I've been a little busy. At times that I wasn't busy I've been a little lazy.
So not that anyone would notice my absence, but I will be in South Carolina from February 6th to the 16th. My father just recently purchased a second home within an hour of Myrtle Beach, and I will be going down there for the closing, and also just to get away for a while :)
All is going ok. I'm having a slight problem with work right now, as there doesn't seem to be any. Usually it's a little slow this time of year and we have a 'bit of time off, but this time we got a "we'll call you when there's something to do."
I've got a 'bit of cash tucked away, so finances aren't an issue, but it just sucks not working : /
One opportunity has arisen out of all this though....
I'm friends with a local "car guy", he runs a garage and restoration shop, and has expressed interest in me scouting some of his contacts down in S.C., and perhaps doing some transporting of cars for him. This would be a sweet deal, even if it's just on the side; and it would also be a good way to get into a field I'd rather be in.
Not a whole 'lot to update. I'm kinda dormant in the winter.
