Acne

My worst enemy. Up until recently I had never really had an issue with it after high school but lately either from medicine changes or from work stress/life stress I am having horrible breakouts. I was using a system that had worked good for so long that I was shocked when the same routine didn't help out.

A little background on my skin it is super sensitive but normal not extra oily or dry. I do have dark circles under my eyes all the women in my family have it though so nothing much to really fix that. My skin is olive complected so scars show regardless of if they are dark or light, hooray. So I wanted a place to track my progress and what I am using this might be helpful to others.

As a cosplay it is super important for me to have good skin. When I don't it shows up in photos and well nobody likes that. So I am working hard to make it better and hopefully my tail of trial and error will help others as well. During this I am hoping to first get rid of current acne and second then fix the scaring this acne has caused.

Attempt one.

So originally I had a very light cleanser and once this is all cleared up I will go back to it. I use a heavy night moisturizer that doesn't have SPF at night before bed in the morning I used a light spf moisturizer Also after cleaning my face I would use Witch Hazel as a toner.

My current routine has switched to this system I picked up at Walgreens. It is Nutragena which has never given my skin problems before.

I picked this up at Walgreens for about $25.

I started last night and for this first week I am going to stop using my toner just to see how my skin reacts to it on it's own. Next Monday I will add my toner after step 1: Cleanser before step 2: night moisturizer.

The toner I will be using is as follows.
It is the Studio 35 brand I couldn't find a picture sorry.
I also get it from Walgreens it is about $5 a bottle.

I was using this brand but they were no longer at this store so I picked up another.

So I will give an update come Sunday then another the following Sunday.
