The flag flies today

For the last two days, the weather has been borderline inclement, so I did not put the flag out. Today, the weather is bright and sunny, and the flag flies outside. I never forget, and hope I never do, that there are many who sacrifice for this nation and many who sacrifice everything. They can never receive any award that compensates them for this sacrifice, so the least they are entitled to is our respect and gratitude.
For all those who serve, have served, and will serve, thank you.
