Slow in the pace
This week is going well. I've got a slow in my workload, and tonight I get to have a lot of sleep! :D
I'm also helping Jack with a neat Shakespear assignment. I'll post it when it's done.
Also, no word on if I won a free Wii. Yet.
But I did play it!
Oooh man. That made today golden. I made a break for it after our presentations were done and took off downtown. I got there around 2 -- Gang and Riley were in line ahead of me, but we all got let in as a group after a while. In the mean time, we played some Wifi Mariokart with the crowd. So much fun.
Now let me tell you...
If you have any doubts (*cough vinay cough*) about the controls, let them be BANISHED. I picked it up and played naturally in LESS than a minute. The system wants you to be a distance away from the screen, but that's not really any trouble. Beyond that, the controls are... pretty well flawless. I mean, there's a few things that could be individually adjusted for comfort, but that's getting in to extremes.
I will note that the controllers seem smaller in person. But they're very comfortable. More comfortable than anything else I've used.
The Wii comes out in half a week. After November 19th, I find it probably that my productivity will die quietly.
