Viral Gamer

So we decided today that I am something of a gaming virus. I actively seek out people who are not playing the games I play and try to get them to play. This was brought up by James since I've been showing him the awesome of my DS (Tetris DS and Meteos for the soul-reave).

But then I realized that I bought Dreamblade in the same way. Enough for more than one person to play. Why? Because it's fun.

And worse yet, I want to build a second 350 point battlegroup for Warmachine so that I can show other people how great the game is!

My intentions are pure. I think. Well, to me, at the very least... I like games. They relax me, they intriegue me. They inspire and challenge me (most of the time, at least). Is it wrong to try and bring those inspiring things to others? Hum.

I have a busy week! I'm moving soon. But, I have the full intent to fit everything I can in. The plan is going to work for either two or three days this week, taking two days off to sort out everything, and having time left over to see the few people I havn't seen so far.

Things to do:
Sort out my boxes and room; pack.
Sort out my games and the like, decide what hobbies are comming with me.
Organizing my art supplies, deciding what comes with.
Sorting out clothes and tools.
Finish my tattoo commission for Aeron (minor tweaks remain).
Colour a recent drawing
Paint my remaining Winterguard (Warmachine).
Finish my Experimental BMW wheel (Wheel Art).
Change over my Cellphone (Let me know if you want the number! I always forget who needs it. Maybe I'll just post it like I used to...)

So, the plan so far is week stretching.
Tomorrow is work and light organization. Tuesday is work and an evening out. Wednesday is a work day and dinner with my Dad. Thursday is organization and Warmachine night at Scott's. Friday is organization and a night out (Nothing planned yet). Saturday is light organization and an afternoon out (Big meet up over a large piece of paper? Anyone?) Sunday is making sure everything is in order... and Monday is finishing everything up, if there's anything left, or otherwise making a break for it.

Packed.

As mentioned in my previous post, I'd like to do a big get together still. I'm not sure where, though, if anyone has any ideas, let me know. So far, all I can think of is something like Strathcona Park if the weather is nice... I'd like to do it on Saturday, but I can be flexible. ANYONE who wants to come is welcome! The idea was to gather around a sketchbook and do whatever, but that doesn't mean you have to draw or draw well or anything. It's mostly just an excuse to draw and hangout with the kind of people I find inspiring.

In any case, I'm saying Saturday afternoon right now, as it is the best time I am aware of for the people I do know who want to come. Recommendations for time and place are very much welcome.

Back to the grind!
