(no subject)
Part of why I reallyreally like being back over in shipping again; this is part of a conversation that took place yesterday shortly after 2nd shift came in:
H: Yeah, Mike told me the other week that I’m his work wife now.
Me: Did you tell him you want a divorce?
H: (laughing) No, but I should!
Then, after a few minutes I thought of this:
Me: I just had a potentially disturbing thought; if she’s the work-wife now, what does that make me?
R: The ex.
Me: I can accept that. (While H cracked up again)
Also, apparently, I have been claimed by H as her work-wife.
